This option is perfect for small, local businesses who wish for a cost effective solution to bringing their business onto the WWW. This process involves the development of your website which is then placed as a sub-folder onto the Hilltowns of Western Massachusetts server. The Hilltowns of Western Massachusetts web site has a monthly customer base of approximately 8000 viewers.

There is an annual charge of $60 which includes one month as a "Featured Business", links to your site within the Hilltowns Business Directory, links within the the town your business resides in and a FREE e-mail account. In addition, all pages developed by iNet Support Services include specialized search engine advertising.

GOLD PLAN - Host At Your Local Service Provider

This option requires you to have a dial-up account with a local service provider. Each service provider has individual terms and conditions regarding web server space. Local providers charge between $240 - $480 annually for internet access, an e-mail account, and usually include 2 MB of server space for your web site files. 

iNet Support Services will develop your web site and then work with your local service provider to upload your files to their location. Your URL will read something like: www.aol.com/users/massachusetts/~smith or www.javanet.com/www/~smith

PLATINUM PLAN - Register your Domain Name

Domain name registration insures that you will have an individualized URL such as www.yourbusiness.com . The positive aspect of this is name recognition and ease of use.

There is a one-time fee of $50 for iNet Support Services to locate and register an appropriate name for your business. Network Solutions ("the dot-com" people) charge $35 per year, payable 2 years up-front, to reserve your domain name. iNet Support Services will then help you to locate a server that will meet your hosting needs. Hosting companies generally charge between $300 - $1000 annually, depending on the amount of server space that you require and whether or not  a "secure server" is needed for e-commerce solutions.
