The

       Hills

      of

   Jacob's

Ladder

Come to the hills of Western Massachusetts. Come explore the towns and tiny villages of Jacob's Ladder Trail, New England's first route west to the Hudson River.

A scenic drive from Tanglewood and Stockbridge, easily accessible from Boston, Hartford and New York, we're the "other" Berkshires; New England the way it's always been...a place of general stores and pot luck suppers, of stone walls and open spaces, of changing seasons and enduring rural values...a place where most of the people you'll meet are "local."

Join us. Combine world-class theater, dance and music with the ox pull at a country fair. Watch the blazing colors of fall from the friendly comfort of a 200-year old bed and breakfast. Learn to ski cross country. Inhale the sweet-flavored mist of boiling syrup at a maple sugar house. Be with us when winter's red-tinged forests give way to the lime-green shoots of spring.

Come visit. Bring the kids, bring friends and family. We're not too fancy and we can't predict the weather, but, whenever you come, wherever you go, we'll make one promise: To do the best to give you a truly memorable vacation and an extra friendly welcome in the Hills of Jacob's Ladder.
